An excellent bakery with sourdough bread in many types and forms with loaves, buns and baguettes in many varieties. They are all terrific. The chocolate sourdough loaf is a wonderful contrast of the bread and the excellent chocolate chunks, of which there are many. It is a treat by itself palain or toasted. I don't use it for tuna sandwiches though! They supply bread to a lot of restaurants. Their pastries are memorable, especially the almond croissant. They make pizzas with a sourdough crust for you to take home and bake yourself (for about 7-10 minutes) and they have about 10 types you can choose from or you can make your selections in any of three sizes. They are fantastic. There are some outside seats. They also sell day-old items at a huge discount. I have found the staff to be helpful and nice.

Delicious breads, especially cherry pecan, chocolate, and whole-grain, which are very reasonably priced. I'm told the pizza is good, but I did not try it.

Amazing products. Everything they sell is delicious. I love the sun-dried tomato cream cheese, chocolate chip ciabatta rolls, pizza crusts, and loaves. Very cute shop. They also had smaller flower bundles outside for sale, and discounted products. No seating available but they do sell ready made pizza and sandwiches. Staff is nice but not overly friendly.

Commentary- Berkshire Mountain Bakery is absolutely the best. It's almost weird. Pretty much everything they have is good or great or ridiculously great. I just had a morning glory muffin which was better than any I ever had. Their croissants are fine when reheated and only 3 bucks. And what about the bread? There are many breads I've never even tried in all these years that I bet are super great. Lucky to have them. Had to tell somebody.

bmbWe were on short jaunt to the Berkshires from CT. I had read a couple of recommendations for the BMB and was afraid they were not open. I called and was greeted by a delightful employee/chef/baker Milton. He encouraged us to stop by and told me he'd be sure we tasted some samples. We couldn't bring a pizza home since we had a couple more stops and ir was warm out. We did bring home delicious breads and some garlic butter. Milton and Lucy couldn't have been finer employees for the place!

There are only 3 words for me to describe Berkshire Mountain Bakery Products: AUTHENTIC, NATURAL & WHOLESOME. Staffs are pleasant, kind and courteous. They have outside tables to enjoy as well near the river wherein some customers bring their own picnic tables and chairs. Very busy place around the corner of the street.

Anytime we're in the area we try to stop by here and pick up a few loaves to bring home. Everything they make is fantastic. We also love the day old bread shed. Highly recommend this bakery, and it's worth taking a bit of a detour to get to.

Just stopped by to take a quick look. Croissants taste so fresh went back in after finishing what we had in the parking lot and bought more. You can see them making the bread on site. Excited to go back & try the build your own frozen pizza.

I loved this place. Their prices are a fraction of any other bread made in house - it's crazy cheap- and their breads are phenomenal. I'm currently eating a sandwich on their oliva ciabatta ($1.50)!!!! And it's the best sandwich I've ever had. The employees were nice although the service could have been a little faster. They also had a spill when we were there and it seemed like everyone was ignoring it except for the cashier so it took forever to check out. I also resent places that don't have bathrooms for their customers; I understand no public bathrooms but no bathrooms at all? It might not be the best customer experience but the bread is great and cheap. Definitely worth a stop on the way to great barrington.
